Exciting weekend ahead!

One of the big international weekends of racing, and I am really pleased to have picked up a spare ride in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, which is pretty tough to have done aboard Survie for Nicolas Clement and China Horse Club. She was second in the Prix de Diane. She finished second in the Prix de Diane and recently had a comeback run to prepare for the Arc. She ran a solid race behind Bluestocking, which was exactly what they wanted to see as they head towards the Arc.

Amongst her, I've got My Prospero going over, who's obviously been an extremely solid horse on his day. He had his comeback run, finished second and was probably a bit unlucky, and then went and managed to win at Windsor, which is great. This is his first step back up into tough company, running in a Group 2, but hopefully, he performs well.

I picked up Coltrane in the Group 1 Qatar Prix du Cadran and obviously looking forward to riding him as most of the time he's been our enemy going around on Quickthorn, so he's a horse I've got to know well, even though I haven't ridden him before. I ride Sea Theme in the Prix de Royallieu. She was impressive winner over in France and ran well at York in the Yorkshire Oaks. She has got a great draw, so hoping she can go well.

I ride Makarova in the Prix de l'Abbaye. She obviously comes in off the back of finishing third in the Flying Five with a huge run. If there’s a bit of give in the ground, which looks like it's going to be, it should suit her really well and looking forward to it. Sadly, it looks like Hollie’s going to be there, to have to try and beat her on Bradsell, which is no mean feat. Obviously, he's in absolutely flying order after winning in Ireland so it won't make it easy. Im also excited for my other rides including Tiber Flow in the Foret!

Plans are coming together for the winter; I'll be heading to the Breeders Cup and then Japan. After that, I plan to go to Bahrain for the Royal Bahrain International Trophy, assuming William has a runner, and then back to Japan for a few more weeks. Hopefully, we'll then head to Hong Kong with Dubai Honour. It's a very exciting start to the winter months, with plenty going on to keep me busy.
