Successful Arc weekend!

It was a successful Arc weekend with Sea La Rosa winning the Group 1 Royallieu! She has been a great filly, who has been progressive and it was fantastic to get a Group 1 win on the board for Mr and Mrs Tsui and William. Obviously Alenquer ran in the Arc and he ran creditably it was also amazing for Hollie to win the Abbbaye on The Platinum Queen, sadly Nashwa didn’t win but to walk away with one Group 1 win and to be unlucky in another was a good weekend.

This weekend I am looking forward to Champions Day, it’s always a great card of racing and I’m excited for it. It’s looking like I am going to be riding Perfect Power in the Sprint for Richard Fahey, he is a proven Group 1 performer and I am really looking forward to him.

Quickthorn should run in the stayers, he was incredibly impressive in the Lonsdale but sadly didn’t run very well in France the other day but hopefully he can bounce back to form. There is also a chance Sea La Rosa will run back two weeks later in the Fillies & Mares if William is happy with her, it’s a quick return but she is a tough filly and I am sure she can handle it. There is a chance My Prospero could line up against Baaeed in the Champion Stakes which will be a tough task but he is a horse I really like and we definitely haven’t seen the best of him yet. I am not sure what I will ride in the Balmoral but William has a few in there so time will tell.

I am really excited about being back at Ascot for Champions Day and I hope to see plenty of you there!
