A brilliant 6 weeks!

The last 6 weeks have been fantastic with lots of Stakes success aboard lots of nice fillies. I had around 14 stakes winners in 5 weeks. Derby weekend was great as Bashkirova won the Group 3 Princess Elizabeth Stakes. It’s always nice to get winners at the Classic meetings.

Ascot was also brilliant for both myself and Hollie as we both enjoyed Royal Ascot success. Candleford was an impressive winner on his first start for the season in the Duke Of Edinburgh and I look forward to seeing how he progresses for the rest of the season.

We then headed to France on Sunday for the French Oaks. Our trip to Chantilly was brilliant with Hollie winning her first Classic in the Group 1 Prix De Diane Longines aboard Nashwa. I couldn’t be more thrilled! It’s tough to find those types of horses, so for her to find one with Imad Alsagar and John Gosden was great.

We are into the thick of the season now and I am looking forward to all the major festivals during the rest of the season.
