It was great to get out of quarantine and I hope you all enjoyed episode two of Through The Lens. I managed to keep myself pretty busy and I didn't find it too bad which was a relief.

It was good to have my first day riding last Saturday at Randwick and although it wasn't quite the day I was hoping for it was good to be back and that's the game! Since Saturday I have only had one other day riding and that was on Wednesday at Warwick Farm but I am hoping to get a little bit busier from now on. Saturday is an exciting day with it being Guineas Day at Royal Randwick and I am really looking forward to that. On Sunday it is the Black Opal Stakes which is one of the main lead up races for the Golden Slipper so it is another big day in the calendar and one I am excited about.

The next few weeks are looking pretty busy but obviously Addeybb and Favorite Moon are looking like their first runs will be on the 20th which is also Golden Slipper day so that is certainly one to look forward to in the calendar. Hopefully I can pick up some other big rides on the card over the coming weeks.

Despite it being all systems go I am enjoying the sunshine. I have managed to get hold of a bike off a friend of mine out here so I have done plenty of cycling and running to keep me fit. Cycling on my days off is the dream given there are some good routes where I am based. Fingers crossed I will be able to get on the board in the next few days to kickstart my Aussie stint.
