Delighted with Cairn Gorm!

It has been a busy few weeks since Goodwood and I have been happy with how the horses have been running.

I was obviously delighted with Cairn Gorm’s win at Deauville in the Prix De Cabourg, Group 3 for Mick Channon and he is still unbeaten and is an exciting juvenile going into the late Summer/Autumn. Red Missile was an impressive winner at Lingfield for William Haggas and he could be an improver now in handicaps. Star Of Wins toughed it out well at Sandown and he looks as if stamina is his strong suit so looks like there should be even more improvement to come.

I was really pleased with the way Ilaraab won last night at Wolverhampton. He did well to win off a slow pace, he quickened up nicely in the final furlong and I think there will be more to come from him.

I am looking forward to a big week at York next week. William is sending a big team up there and has a good record at York so hopefully I can get on some winners.
