Impressive Starman!

Starman was extremely impressive in the Listed Garrowby Stakes for Ed Walker on ground that probably wasn’t ideal. The race didn’t go to plan at all and given that he was the least inexperienced horse in the field having the fewest starts he couldn’t have been more impressive. I am really looking forward to seeing how he progresses and Ed has a plan for him so hopefully that can all work out!

I have a busy week with the Doncaster St Leger meeting in full swing with a couple of days already run. The horses so far have run well without hitting the board including Yazaman and Cold Front.

I am really looking forward to getting back onboard Sacred on what will be faster ground that it was at York and back over five furlongs which will suit. Saturday will be a busy day which I am excited about. I am not sure whether English King will go for the Grand Prix De Paris or the St Leger but if he does go for the Leger I will be really excited about getting back on him as I certainly haven’t lost faith in him. If he does go to France which I think is more likely then I would like to wish the Ed Walker team all the best as I think he’s a very exciting prospect.
