Heading to Glorious Goodwood

As we head into Glorious Goodwood week, which is definitely one of my favourite meetings in the racing calendar, I absolutely love it and always have! The style of the track, the atmosphere and everything that makes up Goodwood — it’s a pretty special place.

It looks to be another strong week in the saddle following a fantastic year last year, where I finished as the leading jockey of the festival and ended the season as leading Goodwood jockey, my love for the place is reflected in my performance.

My big rides this week include Tiber Flow, who heads for the Lennox Stakes (Group 2). He was impressive in winning the John Of Gaunt Stakes (Group 3) last time out. The Ed Walker trained Celandine lines up in the Molecomb Stakes (Group 3) and I'm looking forward to getting back aboard her following a great performance in the Prix Robert Papin (Group 2). Then onto Maljoom in the Sussex Stakes (Group 1) on day two, he made a strong return to the track in the Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1) at Royal Ascot.

Pending declarations, I have some exciting rides at the backend of the week, including my old mate Big Evs, who could line up in the King George Qatar Stakes (Group 2) as well as stable legend Hamish, who may head for the Glorious Stakes (Group 3). He has been electric this season, and I hope to add another Group 3 title to his roster.

It looks to be a glorious week ahead and I hope to rattle home a few winners.
